A true wilderness round trip with many beaver dams. This trek is dependant upon river flow and blowdown conditions.
Bog River to Lows Lake
24-30 miles with 2 portages over the 5-day trek
Easy paddle up Bog River to designated campsites. Some good hiking.
Cranberry Lake
5-30 miles with NO portages over the 5-day trek
Beautiful wild lake with mostly state owned shoreline. Optional hikes to waterfalls and low mountains.
Fulton Chain Lakes/Old Forge to the Saranacs
90-100 miles with 10 portages over the 11+ day trek
A great challenge for strong participants. Resupply twice.
