To help preserve these pristine lands, New York Department of Environmental Conservation limits groups in this region of the Adirondacks to 7 participants plus the guide.

Treks

Keene Valley to Upper Works
40-50 miles/day over the 5-day trek

Start at the Garden in Keene Valley, ending at Tahawus (Upper Works) in Newcomb. Ascend 11 High Peaks including:

• Big Slide
• Lower Wolfjaw
• Upper Wolfjaw
• Armstrong
• Gothics
• Haystack
• Basin
• Saddleback
• Marcy
• Skylight
• Colden

Full pack ascent over Marcy the highest peak in New York State.

Tahawus
Approx 35 miles/day over the 5-day trek

Starting and ending at Tahawus (Upper Works) in Newcomb.  Ascend for Adirondack High Peaks including:

• Skylight
• Marcy
• Colden
• Algonquin

Pharaoh Wilderness Area
20-40 miles/day over the 5-day trek

Pharaoh mountain ascent of 2550 feet. Camping along several kettle lakes like Pharaoh in the center of this beautiful wilderness area.

Transportation waived fee depending on start/end locations. This trek can begin directly from our base camp.

Siamese Ponds Wilderness Area
One of the last remaining true wilderness backcountry experiences within 107,740 acres. Various scenery includes:

• Auger Falls
• Bog Meadow
• Siamese Ponds

This area can be accessed from many different locations with a variety of hiking conditions. Several possible mountain ascents exist. This trip can include hiking to Chimney Mountain where time can be spent caving and/or rock climbing.
