A New Three-Year Strategic Plan for the Greater Hudson Valley Council
The Greater Hudson Valley Council Executive Board has approved a new 2026–2028 Strategic Plan to help guide our work over the next three years.
This plan is focused on keeping youth safe, supporting volunteers, offering programs families want, strengthening our camps, and being financially responsible. It reflects input from volunteers, youth, districts, and board members.
Our priorities include strengthening youth safety, improving how the Council, districts, and units work together, expanding year-round program opportunities, telling the Scouting story more effectively in our communities, and building a more sustainable financial foundation.
Most importantly, this plan keeps the focus on delivering a strong Scouting experience for young people across the Hudson Valley. We will review progress regularly and adjust as needed as we move forward together.
