Frank Gaynor Memorial Scholarship
Frank Gaynor proudly served as an active-duty officer with the NYPD and was a first responder during the 9/11 attacks, participating in rescue and recovery efforts. A devoted Scouter for 43 years, Frank passionately believed in the values Scouting instills in young people. He served as the beloved Scoutmaster of Troop 45 in Warwick, New York, and was known for his love of history and extensive collections of NYPD, Scouting, and military memorabilia.
In honor of Frank’s enduring legacy, his loving wife Lori, along with family and friends, established the Frank Gaynor Eagle Scholarship to continue his commitment to Scouting. This scholarship will be awarded annually beginning in June.
