The Greater Hudson Valley Council has made its full payment into the Victims Trust Fund. It has been a hard chapter for the Boy Scouts of America during the National Bankruptcy. Abuse of any kind will not be tolerated in the Scouting Program and our Council apologizes to the victims of the past.
The Greater Hudson Valley Council is ready to start a new chapter to grow local Scouting. The Council’s executive team has been working hard to develop new capital campaigns to improve properties, a comprehensive membership plan to expand Scouting and welcome new families, and more Council-wide programing to bring the seven county Council together as one community.
Thank you, Greater Hudson Valley community, for supporting local Scouting through Covid and the National Bankruptcy. We are excited to enter this next chapter with you. Together we will grow the premier youth leadership Scouting program to the families in the Greater Hudson Valley Council.
