The Boy Scouts of America – National Council recently released the 2022/2023 National Membership Fees that will go into effect August 1, 2022. In keeping with Council policy, the Council Board of the Greater Hudson Valley Council met on June 12, 2022 and voted to approve the following fees for the 2022/2023 program year. The following fees will go into effect August 1, 2022.
Youth Members = $12.50 Per Month
- National fee = $75
- Local Council fee = $75
- Total $150 ($12.50 per month)
Adult Members = $7 Per Month
- National fee = $45
- Local Council fee = $39
- Total $84 ($7 per month)
Exploring Members (Youth & Adults) = $4.75 Per Month
- National fee = $45
- Local council fee = $12
- Total = $57 ($4.75 per month)
Other Fee Changes from the National Council, include:
- Scout Life subscription will increase to $15 ($1.25 per month)
- Charter Organization fee $100 (paid at Recharter)
The National Council did not change:
- New Member Joining Fee $25
Just a reminder that none of the Fees will be used as part of the National Bankruptcy. All membership fees and local fees are used to carry out the Scouting program.
