GHV Scouting Community:
The Greater Hudson Valley Council and Dutchess County, New York have agreed in principle to terms for the sale of Camp Nooteeming to the County. We expect the final agreement to be done in a few weeks and the sale to happen in April. The Council Board felt this was the best result possible next to the Council maintaining ownership. The County has many plans for the property, but has indicated that Scouting groups will still have some access to the property. When we are given the information on possible Scout usage we will post that for our Units.
