Covid 19 update 1/10/22 - Properties
As a Council, we have been monitoring the Covid-19 rates in the State of New York and have received many questions about our properties rentals. At this time, our cabin rentals policy is if you are indoors at any of our properties and you are unvaccinated or fully vaccinated you must wear a mask. This measure is in effect along with New York State guidance until February 1, 2022. The only exceptions will be eating, drinking, and sleeping.
Safety is our number one concern while working with volunteers, Scouts and outside groups renting our properties. With that said if your group does not feel comfortable renting a cabin at this time, please let GHV.camping@scouting.org know by 5pm the Wednesday prior to your arrival. We will work with you to arrange another rental time or full refund.
We will continue to monitor Covid-19 as we work closely to Department of Health and if we have additional updates about our properties they will be posted on our website www.ghvscouting.org. If you should have any questions, please email GHV.camping@scouting.org.
