UPDATE: As of Oct. 1 all unvaccinated people must wear a mask indoors on all Council Owned Properties. Masks are strongly recommend for vaccinated people in buildings on Council owned properties.
Greater Hudson Valley Council:
We hope you all were able to see Governor Cuomo on June 15, 2021, as he has lifted all COVID-19 restrictions in New York for commercial and social settings. This effects our camping operation at all our Council own properties. Cohorts, temperature checks, and proof of vaccination are no longer required at any property. Camps are open for family and unit camping to tent or stay in cabins. If you are registered to attend Camp Read you should have received an email from our Reservation Director with more specifics on our resident camp. We are excited to be back to “normal”.
Although masks are not mandatory, you are welcomed to continue to use them depending on your comfort level at any of our properties. The Greater Hudson Valley Council recommends that all members that are eligible to receive the Covid vaccine, get vaccinated.
