Scouting Covid19 Update 11/12/20
Recently Govern Andrew Cuomo imposed new restrictions beginning 11/13/20 to businesses that include New York bars/ restaurants, gyms, and limits on private home gatherings to 10 people or less. The Westchester - Putnam Council has received several questions about Scout gatherings and meetings. We are encouraging the local Scouting program to continue in a safe manner. Meaning; use face masks, hand washing, social distancing, and complying with any local, state, and federal guidelines. We will continue to keep Camp Durland open for day use with limited group sizes. We will offer the facility for any unit that would like to have an outdoor meeting. We encourage meetings to be outdoors while weather permits. As always, we continue to monitor the Covid19 restrictions and will comply with any local, state, or federal guidelines.
